Danielle and Eric’s Gorgeous Tapestry House Wedding!

WOW!

Danielle and Eric contacted me to cover their wedding and engagement some time ago and over time I have gotten a glimpse into their lives. So in love, in tune with one another, and just all around happy! Those combinations make for a fabulous couple to be around and to photograph!! They did a fantastic job with the planning and the details of their wedding I was very much impressed! Each little detail put together makes the feel for the whole day and was so beautifuly done at this wedding. Here are a few of my favs enjoy!

Taken by my lovely assistant Lauren.

Danielle you are soooo beautiful!!

Eric you are pretty handsom yourself, you and Danielle make a stunning couple!

Eric and Danielle opted for a “First Look” which I HIGHLY recommend. A first look is where we set up a quite moment BEFORE your ceremony for you and your groom to see eachother for the first time. I LOVE doing it this way because it is so much more special! And you also have that moment to your selves and can talk, hug, smooch ect rather than standing in front of all of your guests. When we do a first look we will usually capture most if not all of your formal portraits before the ceremony as well so that you can just move onto your reception following your ceremony.

The day couldn’t have been any better for an outdoor ceremony. No wind, not too hot, not to cold just perfect!

I LOVE the color choices Danielle! And the lilacs and other flowers just beautiful!! Who was your florist?

There is this spot at the Tapestry House set up just for this shot and I believe that every couple who gets married there gets this shot, isn’t it just fabulous! What a great way to get one photo with you and ALL of your guests!

Peek-a-boo!

I think this might be my new all time favorite shot! Just LOVE it!

So serious! Great job guys you don’t look at all mad:)

I don’t know this one is tied for my new all time fav!! Thank you Shannon for your help with this one!

The reception was stunning!

Danielle got a piggy back ride into their reception and it was way cute!

Favors! You all know I LOVE LOVE LOVE details!! This was a fabulous idea! Inside each sack was flower seeds!

Gorgeous rings!

The Tapestry House does such a fantastic job all the way around!

Aw what a moment!:)

And a tear….

And LOTS of awesome dancing!

I can’t remember the song that they were singing to something by Journey but this was awesome! We had some karoke and some serious dancing to follow!

At the Tapestry House each couple who weds there receives their very own brick that gets layed in the “Brick Laying Ceremony” at the end of the wedding. It is a really cute little ceremony and a great way to have your stamp stay there forever!

And of course a lovely bubble exit!

Thank you Danielle and Eric for having me share in your special day!! It was truly a pleasure and I wish you guys many happy years together!!

June 13, 2010 - 9:16 pm Danielle - Sarah, you are amazing! My favorite thing about you is your passion. I've said it before, but I'll say it again. You have a true passion for photography and it shows! I love how open and welcoming you are to everyone while your doing your work. My family even commented on how, "...all over the place you were," how you "...never missed a moment," and how "...happy you seemed capturing our moments." We were all very comfortable working with you, and we love your enthusiasm! Thank you for all that you've done for us. Thank you for being a part of our day!

Paige and Brandon are Engaged!

Paige found me through a mutual friend and we clicked instantly. I just met Brandon at this session and we all hit it off perfectly! I am soo excited for this wedding and working with Paige and Brandon! They’re fun and funny, full of love and laughter, and just all around great people to hang with! We went to Estes Park for this session and visited two different locations. First we went downtown and walked the river walk (which is where Brandon proposed!) and then we headed up to Lily Lake. For those of you who have never been to Estes Park I would highly recommend it! It is such a cute little mountain town!

Anyhow here are my favorites, enjoy!

I totally love their arm placement in this image!

This is the spot where Brandon proposed! How cute is that!

As some of you may know I kind of have a thing with photographing feet. Not sure why just do:)

Paige you look so cute doing your pirouette!!

Love this image!

Expressions here = priceless!

Loving your ring Paige!!

Longs Peak and Twin Sisters in the background!

Paige says “Lets ride the bridge like a horsey!” I am still laughing:)

So serious, LOVE it!

Paige and Brandon I had an absolute blast with you guys!! Thank you for such a fantastic session! Can’t wait for your wedding!!

May 23, 2010 - 6:45 pm Christina - I Love your photos!

Cassie and Fred Tie The Knot!

I have been waiting my entire career for one of my brides to wear a birdcage veil and I am so excited to finally say that I’ve had one! Cassie wore a birdcage veil for her wedding day and along with her vintage hand made dress she looked absolutely stunning! Fred you are one lucky fellar! Cassie and Fred had their ceremony and light reception at Grace Church in Greeley Co.

For their engagement session we went to Namaqua Park you can view that session here. Here are my favorites from their wedding day enjoy!

This shot was taken by my lovely assistant/2nd shooter Lauren.

For their Guestbook Cassie and Fred had a real tree (I assume they will plant this tree in their yard) along with little note cards on strings. Each guest got to fill out their own card and hang it on the tree! Seriously cute an unique idea!!

WOW! Now isn’t that jsut stunning! LOVE LOVE the veil! and of course Cassie too!:)

Celeste you are soo cute! Celeste was the junior bridesmaid as well as Cassie’s sister.

Cassie and Fred opted to do all of their formal portraits before the ceremony YAY!! I like this format best because it makes your day flow so much smoother and your “First Look” moment is more special because you can share it with just eachother rather than all of your guests.

I Love the windows at this church!

Cassie’s mom made this dress! Isn’t it just beautiful!!

Aw you guys are too cute!!

Who says formals can’t be fun?!?

Almost married!

Unity candles are great when you’re having an indoor ceremony.

Cassie’s ring is stellar! Love it!

Cassie and Fred it was truly a pleasure to work with you guys and photograph your special moments! Thank you for inviting me to share in such an important time in your lives, it has been wonderful getting to know you and I look forward to photographing you again! I wish you two all the best and hope that you will always treasure and love one another!

Anne and Ryan are Engaged!

Anne and Ryan are from Kansas but are having their wedding at Stonebrook Manor in Thornton Co. I simply can’t wait for several reasons 1) I have yet to photograph at Stonebrook and am very excited! 2) Anne and Ryan are such sweethearts I can’t wait to see them all dolled up! 3) And it was such a pleasure to photograph them for their engagment session I can only imagine how much fun we’re going to have on their wedding day! We decided to do their engagement session at Viestenz-Smith Park (this is like my all time favorite place to shoot and everyone loves it!).

So off we went, we had a blast and got some fantastic images to boot! Here are my faves, enjoy!

Unfortunately we couldn’t find their initials in the Aspens:( Still got a great shot though!

What does this remind you of? :)

Gotta love those tulips!!

You 2 have such spunk I love it!

This is one of my new fav shots! Kuddos to Stacy Reeves for the inspiration!

You guys are such perfect naturals! Great shot!:)

Vintage rings on purple flowers seriously makes my mouth water……so beautiful!!

This shot was sooo hard to get!! The wind was blowing I had to hold the branch still while trying to take the shot and not loose Anne’s ring! So worth it though!!

Anne and Ryan thank you guys for such a wonderful session! I had an absolute blast with you 2!! And yes again I can’t wait for your wedding!!

May 12, 2010 - 8:46 pm Ryan and Anne - Thank you so much for all the hardwork you did! We love everyone of them and now you made it hard for us to choose which one to use! Your absolutely amazing at what you do, and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer!!! Thanks again, times a million!!! Ryan and Anne!

Breann and Brian are Engaged!

Breann and Brian decided that Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park was the place for them for their engagement session. Of course I was very happy about that as this is one of my favorite places to shoot! We went out one Sunday morning with their yellow lab Yeager and had a blast! We shot for about 1.5 hours (thank you Brian for making it though that!!:)), and got tons of awsome images! Breann is very much into “ring shots” just as I am so of course we had to get lots of shots with her ring, even on Yeager’s tail!

Breann and Brian I had a fabulous time with you guys!! I can’t wait for your wedding and RTD session! (We will be heading up to Storm Mountain on 4-wheelers to do their Rock the Dress Session so stay tuned!)

Here are my favorites from your session I hope you love them!!

Love the reflection here!!

Breann pointed out this flower, great eye hun!! This one is my favorite!!

Yeager just makes this shot!!

Yup that’s Breann’s ring on Yeager’s tail!!

You guys are soo cute together!! Can’t wait for your big day!!

So serious! Stellar shot guys!

We even got Yeager to grin!! Can’t beat that!

Save the date!!

You guys are so fun, full of life and laughter, you are going to have a wonderful life together!!

Summer has grown!

Wow! My little cousin Summer has grown!! I have had the pleasure of photographing her since she was born and what a treasure she is!! For this session we went to Grandma’s house, played outside, played on the table, jumped on the bed, some of the things you don’t normally get to do at Grandma’s house:) What a blast it was!

Children are not my specialty but I very much enjoy photographing them! Here are my favorites, enjoy!

Is she not just the cutest thing you have ever seen!?!?!? Such a sweet little girl!!

Frogs are a thing with my family. So of course we had to kiss the frog in the yard:)

Summer just turned 2 and loves telling you about it!

A kiss for mama.

Oh and of couse the details!!

Ha! I asked her to look for the horses and this is what we got! How cute is that?!

Summer knows exactly what each animal does. So here I asked her what sound do horses make and she showed me!

So beautiful!!

And of course a kiss from mama.

Thank you Prairie for always having me take Summer’s portraits! It is truly a pleasure to watch her grow!! Can’t wait for the next one!
