Paige and Brandon are Engaged!

Paige found me through a mutual friend and we clicked instantly. I just met Brandon at this session and we all hit it off perfectly! I am soo excited for this wedding and working with Paige and Brandon! They’re fun and funny, full of love and laughter, and just all around great people to hang with! We went to Estes Park for this session and visited two different locations. First we went downtown and walked the river walk (which is where Brandon proposed!) and then we headed up to Lily Lake. For those of you who have never been to Estes Park I would highly recommend it! It is such a cute little mountain town!

Anyhow here are my favorites, enjoy!

Anne and Ryan are Engaged!

Anne and Ryan are from Kansas but are having their wedding at Stonebrook Manor in Thornton Co. I simply can’t wait for several reasons 1) I have yet to photograph at Stonebrook and am very excited! 2) Anne and Ryan are such sweethearts I can’t wait to see them all dolled up! 3) And it was such a pleasure to photograph them for their engagment session I can only imagine how much fun we’re going to have on their wedding day! We decided to do their engagement session at Viestenz-Smith Park (this is like my all time favorite place to shoot and everyone loves it!).

So off we went, we had a blast and got some fantastic images to boot! Here are my faves, enjoy!

Unfortunately we couldn’t find their initials in the Aspens:( Still got a great shot though!

This shot was sooo hard to get!! The wind was blowing I had to hold the branch still while trying to take the shot and not loose Anne’s ring! So worth it though!!

Breann and Brian are Engaged!

Breann and Brian decided that Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park was the place for them for their engagement session. Of course I was very happy about that as this is one of my favorite places to shoot! We went out one Sunday morning with their yellow lab Yeager and had a blast! We shot for about 1.5 hours (thank you Brian for making it though that!!:)), and got tons of awsome images! Breann is very much into “ring shots” just as I am so of course we had to get lots of shots with her ring, even on Yeager’s tail!

Breann and Brian I had a fabulous time with you guys!! I can’t wait for your wedding and RTD session! (We will be heading up to Storm Mountain on 4-wheelers to do their Rock the Dress Session so stay tuned!)

Danielle and Eric. Fun, totally in love, happy, touchy-feely, and joksters, that is how I would desctibe this couple! We went to Viestenz-Smith Park for their engagement session and wow! We got so many amazing shots that I had a really hard time deciding which ones to keep! I wish that I could have had a live video of this session as it was such a great example on “How to get great Engagmenent Images”. First and foremost you must be in love (I know duh right?) and be willing to show that love through smiles, laughs, tickles, smooches, ect. Then I capture those special moments as they unfold:)

Danielle and Eric you guys have it made because you have all of the above and more!! It was a pleasure photographing you!! I am sooo excited for your wedding at The Tapestry House! Not too much longer!!

Engagement Guest Book

So I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE this new idea!! Instead of having a traditional guest book or just that, why not add a customized guest book? They make for a wonderful keepsake! There are several empty spaces throughout the book for people to sign and write cute notes to you. There are also words placed throughout the book to help your guests know that Yes it is ok to write in this book:) I can design these books using your engagement images, images from your lives or a combination of the two. Jeff and Molly: Engaged!

Jeff and Molly. Where to start with this beautiful couple! They contacted me several months ago to shoot only their engagement session as their wedding isn’t until 2011, and they hadn’t set an actual date yet. I said of course! So one afternoon we traveled up to Viestenz-Smith Park to do their engagement portraits. It was a beautiful day and we had a fabulous time! Viestenz-Smith is one of my favorite places to shoot in the mountains. First of all it isn’t very far, it has the river, it has plenty of open space, a pond, pathways and trails and of course the mountains! If you’re not sure where to do your engagement portraits and you love the mountains then I highly recommend this location!

Jeff and Molly it was an absolute pleasure working with you guys!! I simply can’t wait for your wedding! Now your date is set, you have your wedding location chosen and soon your photographer. Your off to a great start!!

(BTW their chosen wedding location is The Pinery at Black Forest, it is stunning, I can’t wait!)

Cassie and Fred are Engaged!

Cassie and Fred contacted me to cover their wedding this coming May a while ago, we met at Starbucks and turns out I went to High School with Fred’s sister, what a small world it is! Their wedding is going to be a small affair held at Grace Church in Greeley. I can’t wait to work in this church again the lighting is just beautiful!

Last weekend we went out for their engagement session. We had originally had it scheduled for the previous weekend but we got snowed out:( So therefore we had to reschedule and I’m so glad that we did because we were able to get some amazing shots! Engagement session are so very important because it gives us a chance to get to know one another so that on your wedding day I am not just the hired photographer I am your friend which of course results in better images:) And you get a collection of awesome images to use in your wedding decor and treasure for the rest of your lives!

Cassie and Fred it was a pleasure photographing you guys I can’t wait for your wedding! Here are my favs from your session enjoy!

Landon and Silvia: Engaged

So Landon and Silvia heard about me from Erin and Toby (you remember the blue cars?) and called me up one day to see if I had their wedding day still available. I did and so we agreed to meet for a consultation. Right after I got off of the phone with Landon I knew that these guys were going to be great clients and I would have alot of fun with them! I am so excited to do their wedding I don’t know how I am ever going to wait all the way until June!!!! So anyhoo we met for their consultation, clicked instantly, scheduled their engagement session for the very next day and voila! Here are my favs, enjoy!

How cute are these guys?!?!? Landon and Silvia you guys are so comfortable in front of my camera I love it! Great job!

I know I have shot this pose several times and so has probably everyone else but I just love it! So cute!

You guys cordinated your clothes perfectly! I love the vests, great for this time of year!

We of course had to have a snowball fight!!

I just love it when my couples are so in love that I don’t even have to tell them what to do it just comes naturally. That is Landon and Silvia.

Brian and Sarah are Engaged!

I met Brian when I used to work at Chase bank in Loveland Co. I was a teller and he is a personal banker. When I heard he and Sarah were engaged we immediatly sat down to talk about their special day. This was almost a year ago and now their wedding is just around the corner! We just did their engagement session and let me tell you I was excited about their wedding day but now I am seriously stoked!! For their engagement session we went to the Fairgrounds in Loveland to play in the park and then we went downtown Loveland for an urban feel. This was the first time I have utilized either of these locations and I am very pleased I will visit again! Ok ok here are the photos enjoy!Hear No Evil See No Evil Speak No Evil I love this shot!! I found this wall downtown in an alley a few months ago and I have always wanted to use it I’m stoked I finally got to! I used to have a set of porcelin frogs in this theme. I simply adore this shot! Sarah you look so cute and sassy standing there and Brian with your serious face, you guys are awesome!This is my favorite engagement shot to date! It even made it to Explore on Flickr! Hannah and Aaron are Engaged!

So I met Hannah and Aaron the same way I met Leslie and Kevin, through Dana Milner and we shot their wedding together yesterday! I know I am seriously behind on my blog posting! This whole blogging thing is still somewhat new to me so please bear with me:) Hannah is a hair stylist and I am not quite sure what Aaron does but they are both the sweetest people ever! We went to Glenmere Park in Greeley for the first part of this session the for the second half we headed up to the “Land of Love” to play in the hay. Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session……enjoy!What a fantastic “formal” portrait this one is! I think this is the one you guys used for the paper right?We got a little risky for the shot above I think it totally worked….great job guys!

Aren’t the colors in the shot above just amazing?!?!? Have you noticed their matching boots yet? Isn’t that just the cutes thing ever!!This is my favorite shot from their session. I love the sky, their attitudes, just everything about the shot, I love it!

It may have been illegal to shoot here but we did anyway! We did not get caught (thankfully lol) and man we got some great shots! I am so sad now though because the hay bales are gone! I guess they sold them or something because they are no longer there:((And last but not least the terrifying shot! Hannah can I tell?? You guys were such good sports getting up there for this shot but when it was time to get down that was another story. I am afraid of heights also so I can certainly sympathize with you but honey you were scared:) I was scared too but we made it, thanks to your wonderful Aaron for catching you:)
