For 2012 and on I have decided that in order to preserve my sanity and continue to give each one of my clients 150% of my best we will only be taking on a maximum of 20 weddings per year. With this plan there will be some additional time that will allow me to work more closely with each of my clients while getting to know them even better and helping to plan their weddings.  With my experience and knowledge of the photographic and wedding industry I will be a great value to you! And the more involved I am the closer we will get which will result in a much more relaxed atmosphere and even more gorgeous images!!

Now most of you probably participated in or at least saw my 2011 Favorite Photo Contest on Facebook. Let me first say that it was soooooo hard selecting those images!! I had literally hundreds of favorite images from last year and really had to just pick a few! The everything BUT weddings part of the contest is over and you can see the winners and their prizes here. The Weddings part of the contest has been broken into 2 parts and part 1 is open for voting now! To vote and see contestants click here. I am so excited for this contest as weddings are my specialty as well as my favorite! I thought selecting favorites for Part 1 of the contest was hard but this is turning out to be way harder!! There are just so many images that I love it’s almost impossible to pick just a few! Again I thank you all so much for your continued support and love for SLWP! Most of all I thank God for giving me this wonderful talent to share with the world!! I am so looking forward to where life takes SLWP in the coming year!

After such a busy season I am taking some time off!! Wahoo!! I have to admit I am quite excited!! There are things that  I just never have time to do such as rake my yard, clean my gutters, organize my garage, deep clean my house and oh the list could go on and on! I will be spending my time off doing either absolutely nothing or whatever I feel like doing at the moment. It’s going to be glorious! Rest and relaxation is a very important part of life and I can’t wait to get some for a spell!

Our offices will be CLOSED from Friday November 18th through Monday December 5th. Friday November 18th through Sunday November 28th will be my vacation then I will be back in the office Monday November 29th through Monday December 5th for strictly office work. This week I will be working to catch up all of this years projects, prepare and plan for next year, and of course all the back office stuff that I don’t have time for throughout the rest of the year. Our offices will reopen fully on Monday December 5th. Please feel free to email me or call me and know that I will be answering all calls and emails upon my return to the office on December 5th.

Please remember to submit all of your Holiday orders to me no later than Friday December 9th so that there will be plent of time to receive by Christmas.

In the meantime I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! And let’s remember to be thankful for all God has given us this year! Take a few extra moments to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you and enjoy the Holiday!!

We had some awesome food provided by Carter’s Creative Catering, a fabulous venue hosted by Linda Stotz with The McCreery House, of course the Chamber of Commerce and many more! Thank you all very much for all you do for me!

The McCreery House is beautiful!! Great place for smaller weddings and it’s now a Bed and Breakfast too!

I created my very own guestbook similar to the ones I design for my brides and I am soooo happy I did this! Thank you for all the wonderful little notes everyone I will cherish this book for a long time!
