For 2012 and on I have decided that in order to preserve my sanity and continue to give each one of my clients 150% of my best we will only be taking on a maximum of 20 weddings per year. With this plan there will be some additional time that will allow me to work more closely with each of my clients while getting to know them even better and helping to plan their weddings.  With my experience and knowledge of the photographic and wedding industry I will be a great value to you! And the more involved I am the closer we will get which will result in a much more relaxed atmosphere and even more gorgeous images!!

Now most of you probably participated in or at least saw my 2011 Favorite Photo Contest on Facebook. Let me first say that it was soooooo hard selecting those images!! I had literally hundreds of favorite images from last year and really had to just pick a few! The everything BUT weddings part of the contest is over and you can see the winners and their prizes here. The Weddings part of the contest has been broken into 2 parts and part 1 is open for voting now! To vote and see contestants click here. I am so excited for this contest as weddings are my specialty as well as my favorite! I thought selecting favorites for Part 1 of the contest was hard but this is turning out to be way harder!! There are just so many images that I love it’s almost impossible to pick just a few! I met Kara and Justin last spring and just knew that they would be an awesome couple to work with! We chatted about their wedding wants, desires and dreams and then Kara metions that she want to do a Rock the Dress session. I sooo LOVE it when I hear those words as these sessions are by far my favorite!! The wedding was amazing as was this session!

We decided to go to a ranch in Boulder with their horses and their dalmation. With that stunning setting and of course the beautiful bride and groom with their pets and a river how could we go wrong?

And of course the details! I LOVED how Kara’s dress was very fitted on the underneath layer but then flowed out with the lace! Great choice Kara, you’re a stunning bride!

And after such an awesome session we managed to stay pretty clean!! Kara will wash her dress and it will be good as new! If you don’t already know I am a HUGE fan of Rocking one’s dress not Trashing it:)

When Kelsey told me that she wanted to go to the old train depot I didn’t think that it would be this cool! I will definetly be visiting there again!!

WOW can you believe how sexy that is?!? Ben is going to LOVE that!

So this was NOT a fun time for me during this session! Kelsey you remember the stump?? I have a bruise the size of a half dollar and a hole in my jeans!!

Ok ok I’ll spill:) So I was taking this shot and I wanted a lower angle. I didn’t realize there was a stump with a bunch of twigs sticking out of it right behind me. You follow? Yea I squated reall fast and got stabbed by one of those twigs! I have to say that my rear hurt for the rest of the day. But very much worth it!

This is one of my favorites from the day!

And of course the red shoes!! I am completely in love with this image and it IS my fav from the day! 

I simply love these red trees! I shoot several people in these trees every year I am glad the timing was right for Kelsey to be one of them. It maches her dress perfectly!
