For 2012 and on I have decided that in order to preserve my sanity and continue to give each one of my clients 150% of my best we will only be taking on a maximum of 20 weddings per year. With this plan there will be some additional time that will allow me to work more closely with each of my clients while getting to know them even better and helping to plan their weddings.  With my experience and knowledge of the photographic and wedding industry I will be a great value to you! And the more involved I am the closer we will get which will result in a much more relaxed atmosphere and even more gorgeous images!!

Now most of you probably participated in or at least saw my 2011 Favorite Photo Contest on Facebook. Let me first say that it was soooooo hard selecting those images!! I had literally hundreds of favorite images from last year and really had to just pick a few! The everything BUT weddings part of the contest is over and you can see the winners and their prizes here. The Weddings part of the contest has been broken into 2 parts and part 1 is open for voting now! To vote and see contestants click here. I am so excited for this contest as weddings are my specialty as well as my favorite! I thought selecting favorites for Part 1 of the contest was hard but this is turning out to be way harder!! There are just so many images that I love it’s almost impossible to pick just a few! Again I thank you all so much for your continued support and love for SLWP! Most of all I thank God for giving me this wonderful talent to share with the world!! I am so looking forward to where life takes SLWP in the coming year!

The Pinery at Black Forest is an all inclusive wedding venue. They make it really easy on their clients as they offer everything but photography all in one place! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue!

Jessica and Shane, it was such a pleasure to share your special day, thank you! We wish you many years of happiness are are looking forward to meeting you new bundle!

What I love most about each wedding I photograph is all the LOVE! With Sammie and Joel you know just by looking at them that they are completely in love! And they both have big families that love them as well as a ton of friends! It makes me very happy to see a couple so very blessed to have found one another and the oppurtunity to share life together! With God at the head of their lives I know that they will be one of those couples that you think “Hey that’s what I want!”

Sammie’s dress and accessories were just gorgeous!! I love the mermaid style dresses!

The girls had a ball getting ready!

The prayers before the ceremony were so special even I was tearing up!

This was a NO Flash ceremony, thank goodness I can shoot in ANY kind of light!

Finally! The moment they’ve been waiting for!

Huge family!! For church ceremonies I HIGHLY recommend that we move to a separate location for the formal portraits! Although churches are yes very beautiful and a sacred place to be there is always lots of distractions. 

Sammie and Joel took my advice:) After the ceremony we headed over to Namaqua Park to finish off the formal portraits before heading to their reception. Aren’t they just adorable!?!?

Sammie and Joel had their reception at the beautiful Garden Room in Loveland! This place is a bit hard to find but totally worth it when you do!

Sparklers are super fun and pretty but they can be dangerous! Pleae be careful, check and make sure it is ok with your venue and please tell your photographer you are doing this!
