Welcome to my Blog!

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!

My name is Sarah Lee Welch and I am the proud owner of Sarah Lee Welch Photography.  I am 26 years old, happily married, and the mother of two wonderful, furry creatures.  Their names are Chewy and Slinky.  I have a vivacious personality, a God-given talent, and have the unique opportunity to do what I love every day.

Sarah Lee Welch Photography was established in 2004.  I began my career by shooting nature and families; then expanded into weddings and engagements.  Through vast research, practice, and a desire for perfection, I have successfully become one of the finest photographers in Northern Colorado.

Weddings, engagements, and rock-the-dress sessions have become my specialty, as well as my passion!  I also offer high school senior portraits, family portraits, maternity portraits, and much more.  I strive to mix both traditional portraiture and innovative originality to meet your distinct needs.  Coupled with hard work, dedication, and creativity, I will ensure that you will cherish your memories for a lifetime.

I am devoted to portraying all of your moments in an elegant and artistic manner.  Please contact me today to discuss how I can best tell your story.  I look forward to hearing from you!

My Aunt is the Branch Manager at Wells Fargo in Greeley and has been fabulous with referrals! I just love everyone that she works with! This is how I met Carolyn. Her daughter and grand daughter were in town just for the weekend and we had to get a session in and done before she left. We decided to go to Namaqua Park in Loveland that Saturday morning and thankfully we were blessed with fantastic weather! I had a wonderful time getting to know this family and capturing their memories! This cute little girl is Sophie. She was such a joy to photograph! I find that when photographing children you must get on their level right away, ask them questions, get to know them a bit so they feel comfortable. This was very easy with little Sophie:) Enjoy!e27

Now who wouldn’t want to have an image like this with grandma?!?!? How cute is that!e133Sophie is an explorer and very intrigued with nature. I just loved how she would find little things like this and show them to me.e153There is a little story here. About 5 minutes prior to this I whispered in Sophies ear telling her to go give her mom a big kiss when I told her to. So I waited about 5 minutes and then I said to Sophie “do you remember what I told you?”, she says “yeah”, and I say “ok go ahead its time” and this is the shot I got. How cute is that!e163e183e223I love it when I tell a family to bear hug and they realy do! It makes for such a fun and cute shot.e234I am pretty sure that they thought I was completely crazy when I told them to lay down like this. What do you think now?? It’s totally cute huh!:)e251And last but certainly not least my favorite!e92

Carolyn thank you so much for inviting me into your lives for a spell! I had a blast with you and your family and I look forward to more sessions in the future! Thanks for being patient:)

Along with seeing the new posts, I'm also always checking out the blog roll rss feed and watching them grow, or shrink sometimes. In one of my past ...but all in all excellent site. Keep it up!

September 11, 2009 - 4:08 pm Bill Bartmann_ - Hey good stuff...keep up the good work! I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say I'm glad I found your blog. Thanks,)
